Nothing Worse than a Limp Diddy

That's right, a limp diddy is one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen and Chris and I didn't know how to react! We had never witnessed a limp diddy and felt horrible about it. Now get your mind out of the gutter, because I am talking about Camden's sprained tail :(
This past Sunday we went to the ocean with Diddy because swimming is by far her favorite activity. It was great other than the fact we couldn't take her off the leash, but she stayed in the water for probably 30 minutes straight (side note she also relieved herself in the ocean which left Chris and I wondering the etiquette for when your dog defecates in the ocean)?
Anyways, we had a great time and headed home and nothing was strange until the middle of the night when Camden woke us up by trying to get underneath Chris' nightstand. She was obviously upset and was trying to get in our bed and her tail was not he normal curly Q tail? The only other time Camden flipped out in the middle of the night was in Cincinnati when our fire alarm had a low battery so it was beeping. Camden woke us up again shaking and completely flipped out. To this day we can't watch Income Property on HGTV because of the little beeping noise it makes. Sorry...off track again...
So eventually she laid back down, but then the entire next day she was super depressed and her tail wouldn't curl? This was earth shattering to us because a curl tail is what makes Diddy, Diddy! We didn't panic and by the evening after researching what was up we assumed that she sprained her tail somehow. We woke up on Tuesday to a slightly more curly tail and then on Wednesday she was fit as a fiddle!
Who has ever heard of a sprained tail?!! So weird! No worries though, we no longer have a limp diddy at our home and in the future we will know that Limp Diddy just needs a few days to recover to her old curly Q ways!
Limp Diddy (sorry taken on my blackberry)

Normal Diddy Tail

Diddy swimming - she turns 6 on May 3rd

And all you people with kids can go ahead and tell me I am a loser for posting about my dog! It's okay, I know it!

  1. I always laugh out loud reading your post. That stinks - it is so weird when something like that happens and you don't know what to do but it is so freaking funny to read it from your point of view. Congrats for the curl!
