Space Shuttle Video

Yesterday Space shuttle Discovery launched for it's last mission. In Florida the coverage is major for these events. It was exciting yesterday because as they were counting down they only had like 90 seconds to fix a computer problem or else they would have pushed the launch back. It was sort of intense and you could tell the local news anchors loved every minute of it!

There were over 300,000 people who traveled to Kenndey Space Center area to watch the launch so apparently I am not the only geek who thinks this is super cool!

I took a video on my camera which does not do it justice, but still I thought you might like to see it! Watching it live there is a huge red fire ball in front of a massive stream of smoke. The launch location is about an hour south of us and as the shuttle is passing over head it is going about 3000mph!
